This body of work has been in the making for a year and a bit, the theme inspired by our sensory memories and its power to transport us through time. ‘Urmoder.’ at Gruyere Farm
Repost @simonehaag. Featured on US Architectural Digest
[…] For this client’s second home in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, Simone Haag and Studio Manifold collaborated to reinvent the interiors. Working together, our team’s reimagining of Gruyere Farm honours its mid-century roots with a tactile, native palette. Vintage and contemporary pieces, olive and turquoise tones, and warm materials create a layered, grounded atmosphere—deeply connected to the landscape. The result is a home of quiet luxury, comfort, and enduring Australiana character.GRUYERE FARM

The idea of ‘string theory’ proposes that all matter and energy in the universe are made of tiny, vibrating strings. These vibrations, like notes on a musical instrument, give rise to everything we observe.
This theory suggests that the universe’s fundamental laws and structures are governed by these harmonies, or waves of energy interacting.
“Celebrating twenty years living in Australia, ‘Everything Sings’ collates nine postcards from my adopted home. A string of pearls that make some kind of song, to momentarily vibrate at an open frequency. A poem about a journey, a story about a life. My mind forever dancing awkwardly, but full of wonderment. Can you hear what I see?”
— Charlotte Swiden
FISHHARVEN ARTWORK
So humbled to have a piece of mine included in this otherworldly home in Fish Creek.
Recently shortlisted for the #housesawards New House over 200sqm!
“The selection of Australian art, ranging from photography to ceramics, adds layers of personal significance and visual interest to the home. “In its own way, each work is deeply connected to the client’s experience of the site and its surrounds through colour, texture and theme, from the memorialised Thylacines gazing out across Bass Strait in Joseph McGlennon’s work to the mix of rich and muted coloured objects and figures that break and layer over one another like people and place converging in Charlotte Swiden’s painting.”

‘ECLIPSE’ SAINT CLOCHE GALLERY | GROUP SHOW
“At its core, ‘Eclipse’ reimagines the Brutalist ethos through a lens that embraces raw materiality, geometric clarity, and unembellished beauty as a means of asserting presence and purpose.
Presented in recognition of International Women’s Day, ‘Eclipse’ brings together six female artists united by an exploration of materiality and form, each artist contributes to a shared vision of resilience, grace, and quiet power.”
“Each work speaks to resilience and refinement, reminding us that progress isn’t always loud or immediate, but built through deliberate, considered action.”
